The Jepson Herbarium provides educational opportunities for a broad audience of professional and amateur botanists. We are hoping to host a workshop at the Hopland Reserve that will focus on oak identification. This will involve some collection of plant material (only by the instructors) and trips around the Hopland Research center to observe oaks. We will use the classroom space to look at and identify oak specimens.
