We plan to visit the Cima Volcanic Field and Kelso Dunes region. This is an undergraduate geology field trip. We do not plan to take samples at either location. The bulk of our work/reason to stay at Zzyx is to conduct a field mapping exercise at Rainbow Basin and Salt Creek (north of Baker).
