The class will observationally study the natural history of the Mojave Desert. We will be visiting several locations in and around Mojave National Preserve including: Afton Canyon (May 19th and 20th), Kelso Dunes (May 21st), Kelso Depot (May 21st), Lava Tube (May 21st), Hole-in-the-Wall (May 22nd), along Black Canyon Road (May 22nd), Dumont Dunes (May 23rd), China Ranch (May 23rd), Tecopa (May 23rd).
