The purpose of the visit is to introduce students to rocks that represent different geologic time periods. The driving trip to "show and tell" different rock outcrops primarily in the Mojave National Preserve. We will primarily focus on Kelbaker Rd from the north end to the south end of the park. If time permits will visit Hole in the Rocks and Mitchel Caverns.
