This event is designed to support my ELI (Environmental Leadership Incubator) project by gathering data on student interest and attendance at outreach events focused on the outdoors. As part of my role as an RA, this event also aims to engage residents in environmental education by introducing them to the unique natural features of Coal Oil Point Reserve and the educational opportunities offered at its nature center. Students will get a guided experience that highlights the ecological importance of the area and the work done to protect it.
