Fish and bird eggs are annually sampled throughout the Newport Bay Watershed as part of a TMDL monitoring program, and County staff will collect water and sediment grab samples to complement the biota samples. Earlier this year, attempts to sample fish/crayfish/bird eggs were made at Pond 10, so water and sediment will be sampled from the same pond. This would ideally be on Monday, 7/8.
