San Joaquin Marsh Reserve

Cambriate is hosting a Southwestern Pond Turtle Workshop that offers biologists a unique opportunity to deepen their knowledge of the Southwestern Pond Turtle (SWPT) and gain hands-on field experience. On Day 1, attendees will head to the nearby San Joaquin Marsh to set traps in preparation for the following day (around 2-4 pm). On Day 2, participants will apply their knowledge in the field, working alongside a permitted biologist (Barry Nerhus) to refine their survey and handling techniques in the San Joaquin Marsh ponds. (from 8 am-2 pm)
