I plan to sample ~100 30 m grids for maximum vegetation height across different landcover types on the island (tree cover, shrubland, grassland, and bare ground/sparse vegetation). This will serve to ground truth a maximum canopy layer created by fusing sparse vegetation height data from GEDI and Landsat imagery.
