Sample populations of Eriogonum species on the island, mainly grande var. grande and var. rubescens from different areas on the island. The target sampling is two to three populations per population and sampling around three individuals per population. Sampling will work will be in service of phylogenetic, biogeographical, and flower color analyses. Sampling DNA of other Eriogonum and Chorizanthe species will be done as well.
