As part of the 2025 North Country San Diego California Naturalist Course we would like to bring a group of students to Dawson-Los Monos Canyon for a guided nature walk to serve as a field day to supplement classroom learning. Topics to include: nature awareness, identifying native plants and animals, discussing the history of the reserve and related conservation efforts, nature journaling, etc.
