Biologists from Environmental Science Associates will assess the wetland and riparian conditions in the canyons and drainages in the Reserve for wetland creation, restoration and/or enhancement opportunities on behalf of the City of Carlsbad. The City is looking at conserved lands within the City for wetland mitigation opportunities that include creation, restoration and enhancement in canyons, drainages, and wetland areas. This is a high-level mapping and data collection visit; data collected will be used for discussion purposes and the City would work with and coordinate with the Reserve on any opportunities identified during our site visit.
