Continual Monitoring for SONGS project. We will be downloading and maintaining dataloggers monitoring water quality variables in CSMR. Additionally, we will be taking soil pH and soil redox potential readings using a small hand held meter over the course of the week to see if readings fluctuate over the course of the week to see if any useful data can be gathered. Invertebrate populations at the restoration site of San Dieguito are below all reference wetlands, so this exploratory survey is being conducted to see the potential in possibly using these soil parameters to possibly help explain the lack of invertebrates at the restoration site. We will be sampling several of our enclosure sites over the course of the week to track changes in pH and redox.
