Fieldtrip for about 55 scientists interested in reconstructing past sea levels (as part of a conference being held at UCSB). PALSEA -Next (PALeo constraints on SEA-level rise) is an international group of scientists (faculty, postdocs, and graduate students) that meet about once a year to discuss the interactions between ice sheets and sea-level rise, mostly from a paleo perspective. We will have 55 people this year from places as diverse as Hong Kong to Italy, New Zealand to Dublin... the meeting itself will be held at UCSB from August 26-August 28th, 2024.
