Hello and welcome to the University of California (UC) Natural Reserve System's (NRS) Carpinteria Salt Marsh Reserve. The Carpinteria Salt Marsh Reserve now uses an electronic waiver form (e-waiver) for all visitors entering the Carpinteria Salt Marsh Reserve. Simply click on the web link below and follow the instructions to complete your e-waiver. The e-waiver can be completed online from any web enabled computer, tablet, or phone. There is no need to download any software onto your personal electronic device and the waiver will be submitted automatically once you complete the signature process in DocuSign. The waiver policy for the UC NRS Carpinteria Salt Marsh Reserve All persons entering the Reserve must submit a completed and signed copy of the electronic Carpinteria Salt Marsh Reserve Waiver prior to their first visit each calendar year. In the case of an individual under the age of 18 on the date of their first visit to the Reserve, the waiver also must be signed by the individual's parent or legal guardian. For classes or groups entering the Reserve, it is the responsibility of the Class Instructor or Group Leader to ensure that everyone in their class or group has completed and submitted a signed copy of the NRS e-Waiver before entering the Reserve. Group or Class Leaders: Please have your students or group members include your LAST NAME and E-MAIL address in the spaces provided when completing their waiver. Waivers are valid for the entire calendar year in which they are submitted.
