The purpose of this visit is to gather faculty and students at the Sweeney Granite Mountains Desert Research Center for a period of intense reflection on desert ecology, spirituality and the art of peacemaking. Work will include seminar-style reflection on shared readings (on desert ecology, history, culture and spirituality), time spend in the silence of the desert community building practices.
