This class deals with the natural history and ecology of Big Sur. The class consists of a guided interpretive tour of the various ecological communities present on the Reserve including; kelp forest, intertidal, freshwater stream, maritime chaparral, redwood forest, oak woodland, riparian woodland, grassland, hot spring bacterial community, and Santa Lucia Fir forest.
