Our team will conduct stream discharge measurements using a Flow Tracker and a pygmy meter at 5 locations along the Big Creek River. We will also collect water quality data to include pH, dissolved oxygen, salinity and total dissolved solids, as well as water samples for suspended sediment testing at these sites. Water quality and suspended sediment measurements will also be taken along 3 transects within the mouth of the bay. These measurements will be taken with the assistance of snorkeling gear. SCUBA gear will not be used. No animal or plant populations will be affected in any way during the data collection.
