The Field Biology of Big Sur class will be studying many aspects of the natural history of the Reserve. The class will hike trails on the reserve to experience the various biotic communities, including: intertidal, fresh water stream, maritime chaparral, coast redwood forest, oak woodland, grassland, serpentine community, and riparian forest.
