We placed temperature loggers (2) in the warm spring at Big Creek in April 2013, and an additional temp logger along the banks of the nearby creek. I retrieved the loggers in December 2013, and want to re-deploy them in November 2014 so we can have a seasonal record of the water temperatures to go along with the geochemistry data that we collected. We also plan to return to the warm spring in April 2015 in order to characterize the microbial communities surrounding the warm spring, and elucidate the relationships between the geochemistry and microbial ecology.
