Landels-Hill Big Creek Reserve
09 Apr, 03 PM - 10 Apr, 05 PM
This CSUMB undergraduate course is a SCUBA-based group Capstone class involving the collection and analysis of visual/observational data on fishes, invertebrates, and available habitat across CA. The course focuses on biogeographical patterns in the subtidal zone. The field portion of the course requires weekend and Spring Break field trips, including dives ranging from northern to southern CA, and dive sites located inside many of CA's marine protected areas. We intend on using Big Creek as our central CA MPA site. The final project combines data collected by each student into a single, comprehensive analysis.
