This trip would be run through the UCSC Recreation Department with the same goals and similar itinerary as last spring break. During the group's days on the reserve, they hope to be spending time in the Field Quarter style--spinning the wheel, observing birds, partaking in plant "treasure hunts" and sharing nature notes in the evening. They are hoping to spend time a Highlands camp, and take short day hikes in the daytime. A service project at the reserve of some sort would be a welcome component.

Approved
