I hope to lead a group of undergraduate students on a trip focused on Leave No Trace techniques and Environmental Justice topics. We will be using the site to do experiential learning on the Leave No Trace principles (I received my trainer certificate from through the National Outdoor Leadership School - NOLS), and I will be facilitating activities focused on environmental justice topics including: - impact of race and socioeconomic class status on access to natural resources like the reserves and parks - disproportionate impact of pollution on marginalized communities
