Research from the social sciences show that academic women, and mothers in particular, often take longer to get to full professor than their male counterparts. We are a group of six women professors who came together around the goal of supporting one another's research goals in a writing group format. Throughout the year, we share our work and help each other set goals and timelines. We would like to use Landels-Hill Big Creek Reserve for our fall writing retreat. We will have three days of intense writing, goal setting, and accountability discussions to kickstart the 2024-2025 academic year.
