We would like to conduct a survey for macrofungi at Angelo Coast Range Reserve. We will use iNaturalist to document our findings which will give us a species list and a map of observations. Additionally, specimens will be collected for single-specimen sequencing, which will help advance knowledge of the macrofungi in California. We conducted a survey here last year in November, which resulted in 517 observations of over 220 species of macrofungi. This effort greatly advances the reserve's understanding of its macrofungal diversity.
