The Western Section of the Wildlife Society are planning an Annual Meeting/Conference in Monterey. As a part of the conference, we coordinate multiple field trips on the Tuesday before sessions start (February 2, 2025). It would be amazing if we could coordinate a group to visit multiple biologically diverse areas in Monterey! We are requesting an afternoon visit with the possibility of a docent speaking about the area. The trip would be non-invasive, and all participants would stick to maintained trails and adhere to all policies. As a bonus, we could have the participants collect observations on iNaturalist and eBird to maintain a catalogue of observations for future reference and use by all interested parties.
