ARC facilitates relationship-centered literacy and leadership development programming using the outdoors as our classroom. We offer a multi-year progression that provides opportunities for rural high school students in the Tahoe/Truckee and Central Valley regions to grow to be more deeply engaged learners, leaders, and community members. This visit will be a weekend retreat for our students to spend time together in nature and for our Community Leaders students to fulfill a component of the program by leading a hike and teaching outdoor skills to their peers.
