Hastings Natural History Reservation
03 May, 12 PM - 04 May, 12 PM
We plan to stay overnight on Saturday after our all day excursion on the way down trying to see as many vertebrates as possible. Dr. Alan Shabel hopes to put out some Sherman traps to catch small mammals and we will flip rocks to look for snakes. These activities are approved by our IACUC protocol. We plan to work around the houses and possibly out towards the chaparral habitats to try and trap Kangaroo-rats.
