In partnership with the Resource Conservation District of the Santa Monica Mountains, we will host a WiLD CiTY workshop for members of the community focusing on bats. Specifically, the workshop will begin with a 30 minute in class teaching where participants will learn about the ecology, behavior, and threats/conservation of southern California bat species. Following the classroom teaching, participants will join the event leaders for a night hike and live bat acoustic data collection demonstration.
