On my first visit, I plan to inspect potential sites and then deploy equipment at each site (2-4 sites) including an acoustic bat detector to sample batcalls and a light trap to sample nocturnal insects which would stay in place for 4 nights. I would visit the light traps each day to collect nightly samples and pack up and remove all equipment after 4 nights.
