The purpose of a preliminary visit would be to work with reserve staff to ascertain suitable sites for installation of temporary seismic stations in approximately the locations laid out in the accompanying research application. I would like to obtain a high-resolution topography map of the reserve and confer with the reserve staff about station locations. I also wish to see the accommodation and fieldwork resources (tools, vehicles, etc.) available on the reserve, as I have not previously conducted research there.
