05 Oct, 02 PM - 07 Oct, 12 PM
This workshop, funded by UCSB's Institute for Society, Behavioral, and Economic Research, will bring together an interdisciplinary group of scholars from UCSB and CU-Boulder to discuss issues related to the ethics of species reintroduction, and the case of the California grizzly in particular. This workshop is part of the broader California Grizzly Research Network, which began in 2016 with the goal of promoting--through rigorous, interdisciplinary research--a more informed scholarly and public discussion about the past, present, and future of grizzly bears in California.
