I am accompanying Maddie up on Saturday as well to get started on this, but Sunday Maddie will not be coming so I am putting in a second RAMS reservation: We are going to clear 32 0.5m x 0.5m plots for the final iteration of the granivore experiment at both Drought Net and Invasion Sites on Figueroa Mountain Road. This final experimental form involves clusters of 8 clusters of 4 plots at each site, half of the plot clusters will host one seed mix, the other half will host a seed mix with more species. Within each cluster, half of the four plots will have a cage-like animal exclosure.
