On Sunday, we plan to dig several soil pits along the north facing hillslope in Windmill Canyon. We will be collecting soil samples from one of the soil pits. We will also visit and do some upkeep on the large soil pit on top of the hill in Windmill Canyon. If we arrive on Saturday with enough time, we'd like to put down several auger holes and maybe one soil pit in the back of Lisque and Figueroa Creek. We will back fill the pits as soon as we are done describing them on this trip.
