We will first do a scanning of different Acmispon spp populations that could be present in the reserve. If populations are identified we will then proceed to excavate whole plants. Samples will be transported in sealed plastic bags to the laboratory where they will be washed to remove soil with tap water and sterilized tools will be used to remove root nodules.
