I seek to stay at the Sedgwick Reserve with another UC Davis researcher for the purpose of continuing the WSU/UC Davis project monitoring of monarch butterfly breeding phenology. My primary objective during this visit is re-survey areas already established at Sedgwick and nearby off reserve locations. By documenting these phenological patterns, we can gain valuable insights into the factors influencing monarch population dynamics and inform targeted conservation efforts.
