During this visit we will: 1. Explore the reserve without digging at all to find good candidate digging locations 2. Meet with Dr. Frank Davis to discuss our plans and ensure they are acceptable Dependent on green-lighting of research activities, we will also 3. Do some exploratory hand augering to make sure our identified digging locations are appropriate for our research outcomes 4. Dig the four proposed soil pits and collect samples.
