Sedgwick Reserve

This event is a working retreat for a group of Humanities PhD students whose work combines creative writing and critical scholarship. We (5 of us) will be working on dissertation writing each day (two sessions per day, 9am-12pm; 2-5pm) and then convening in the evenings to share and discuss our work. We come from disciplines across the Humanities (Literature, Art History, Film). Several of us are doing work specific to the landscape of Big Sur; one is writing about the site of the reserve itself. We would love the opportunity to write and share work in an interdisciplinary and collaborative setting.
