I would place a portable hide next to the areas of high bird traffic and photograph them. Areas include the pond and the water trough near Bone Canyon. I would be concealed and at a distance. I might also, if possible photograph birds coming to the fountain at the ranch house, as they seem used to people, here. And I may try to photograph birds on a chaparral-covered hill.
