We intend to visit the reserve for a preliminary site visit to identify a suitable for plant and soil assessment using the following criteria: 1) not previously restored, 2) consists of >20% native plant cover, 3) are ~1-2 acres in a larger natural area, and 4) have ≥3 overlapping genera with other sites in the study. We will hike around the reserve, identify plants, make topographic measurements, and do general site assessment without collecting any samples.
