The CWAC will be visiting Sagehen to gain an understanding of how forest management and creek and meadow restoration in the Sierra are important to water security in California as well as understanding the nexus of forest management and water quality and supply. The group will be meeting Jeff Brown and Forest Service staff at hwy 89 and turnoff to Sagehen entrance; drive toward lower camp making two to three stops along the way to look at the contrast of dense, untreated forest adjacent to thinned forest as well as Pile burns/under story burn sites adjacent to creek.
