Bio Boot Camp is a UC Davis Bohart Museum of Entomology/Museum of Wildlife and Fish Biology/Campus Recreation Youth Programs collaboration of over 10 years. We plan on bringing junior high aged campers to Sagehen to experience the research station and to observe nature for 2 days and 1 night. We would like to use insect nets and set- up a black light and a malaise trap for insects. We will also be bird and mammal watching, viewing fish in the fish house and looking for mountain garter snakes in the fields.
