During a short initial visit in July, I plan to coordinate with Drs Andrew Schwartz and Ash Zemenick to locate and photograph specific locations effected by wildfire, to understand specific conditions thought to be causal agents, and advance a multi-year project of art-making on the subject. Additionally, I hope to coordinate a significant grant with Sagehen for future work in the coming year and - ideally - a longer residency at the research station to result in an exhibition on the subject.
