Sagehen Creek Field Station
29 May, 12 PM - 02 Jun, 10 AM
This course involves immersive, place-based learning in field ecology and natural history. Students will conduct observations, field journaling, plant and animal identification, and ecological monitoring. No manipulations of the environment will be conducted—only low-impact educational activities including naturalist walks, phenological observations, and habitat surveys.
Students will conduct short hikes and field studies in areas immediately surrounding the main reserve facilities and along established trails. Activities will be dispersed to minimize impact, and all work will follow Leave No Trace principles.
