UC Berkeley Science Ambassadors will reside at Sagehen Creek Field Station to support the Sagehen Outdoor Education Program (SOEP), a field-based environmental education initiative for 5th-grade students in the Tahoe Truckee Unified School District. During their stay, ambassadors will lead hands-on STEM learning activities, assist with program logistics, and support stewardship-focused field lessons. Their time on site will include preparation, direct instruction, and wrap-up tasks related to their role in the program.
