The Fresno CCC crew plans to work on the Stoneman Riverbank restoration project in Yosemite Valley from November 4-11, as part of the implementation of the Merced River Plan. They work 8 days on, 6 days off so there will be no rest/lieu days within these dates. Typically we would offer this type of group camping, however given that it is late in the season and conditions will likely be cold, coupled with the closure of all public shower facilities in Yosemite Valley due to COVID, we didn't feel this was a reasonable option. We request to use one of the SNRI facilities to house the crew for these dates to support critical restoration work within the park while providing developmental opportunities for diverse youth from Fresno.
