¿field curious? is a weekend-long field scholarship immersion event for UC Merced undergraduate students that is hosted by the UCM NRS. The purpose is to instill a sense of belong in the field and a sense of place at the UCM Natural Reserves and Field Stations. Topics covered will include ongoing research projects, nature journaling, field safety, and the wellness benefits of spending time outdoors.
