We plan to use the reserve for a writing lab where the participants, all graduate students at UCI and one at UCSB, will work on individual and collaborative writing projects. The writing projects are primarily related to completing a key milestone for the Ph.D. program at the School of Education and preparing manuscripts for submission to leading education journals. We will also work on developing a research grant proposal that will investigate the impact of enrolling in Ethnic Studies coursework for high school students.
