My students and I will be observing vernal pool and grassland flowering plants, and collecting ~10 individual specimens of those species that have no listed status at the state or federal level. We will have a list of these listed species in hand when we are visiting, so we can observe but not collect any we might run across. The students will prepare the specimens they collect for accessioning into the CSU, Fresno herbarium.
