We aim to drill into the Kendall Frost Marsh and recover 10cm thick x 4m long sedimentary records. We will use either a manual Russian corer or a portable vibracorer. The compact size, light weight of the components and easy portability of both drilling systems make them particularly suitable for drilling in protected or sensitive wetland areas such as the marsh.
