I'm hoping to collect 8 wide sediment cores during this visit (~30cm diameter, 10 cm depth) to bring back to SDSU's marine lab. Cores will be extracted using either a modified bucket or large PVC. I'm looking to collect mostly unvegetated sediment, ideally from the mudflat area towards the field station entrance. Please let me know if you have requests or requirements for sediment collection.
